Ten years growth tendency showed,a new revolution of tea consumption goes green side from black side have been carrying on in the international tea market.Secretary of FAO's inter-governmental group(IGG) on tea.Mr.Kaison Chang on the world tea forum held in Beijing in October,2004 reported that.in nowadays,the world tea market is still in the main stream of black tea.green tea only accounts for 22% of the global tea total output in 2003.However green tea keeps growing by 2.5%,black tea only grows by 1%,compared the two outputs in the past decade.

The analyst believed that the international tea market's going green side from black side mainly lies in:The green food movement become a global trend,the modern technology has solved the bottleneck of long-distance transport and freshness keeping for the light fermented or the non-fermented tea in the world,the multiple multiplication production and consumption of tea product fruither develop.

Tea expert also suggested that China green tea accounts for above 74% of the total output and 86% of exportation of global green tea. and keeps a growth rate of 3.5% every year continuously.The Chinese tea industy should further develop Chinese green tea and other special tea to meet the new revolution of global tea consumption.
